For my final project, I am doing a series of three fully rendered drawings of myself, my mom, and her mom. This series will show the aging process of three generations of women in my family.
Although aging is looked down on so much by society, and there are so many products that are coming to prevent this process, it is inevitable to escape. I too am not totally comfortable with this thought, however it is something I have accepted and interested in. Looking at my family, I don’t mind this process too much. Both sides of my family have aged rather well and are all still in rather good health, therefore I wouldn’t mind aging like my mom and grandmother. I hope people will find this project interesting and be influenced to look back on their own family generations and see how they feel about what might be further down the line of their aging process.
